Disneyland Trip: Outfit Planning, Food Porn, etc.

If there's something that I hate and that makes me anxious, is packing. Maybe is the stress of taking too much clothes, and ending up wearing just leggings and sweatshirts everyday. (You might be thinking "well, why don't you just take the leggings and sweatshirts out of the luggage", that's because I'm complicated.)

So, in order to actually get pictures with decent clothes on, I decided to plan my outfits ahead... for Disneyland.

This year, just like last year, one of my Christmas Gifts from my dad was a trip to Disneyland on New Year's Eve, which is a first for me, and It got me so excited... except for the packing part, because I do love traveling.

So, since the plan was to start the trip on Friday the 29th, going to Disneyland the 30 and 31 (until past midnight to welcome the new year) and most likely going back on the 1st, I pulled together 4 outfits.

The goal: to have outfits with a change for the cold, not pack too much and still look presentable.

Outfit Planning

I usually use polyvore to kind of visualize the outfit before actually wearing it, so here's the outfit planning:

Disneyland Outfit #1

For the road: I planned on taking this outfit for the road since the first plan was to get to Anaheim a day before actually entering to Disneyland, however, we ended up sleeping in San Diego.

Here it is: Jeans, a sweater with a cowl neck, along with my Monsters University Cap and my Moto Jacket from LOB.

Multi functional Mickey Outfit

For Disneyland: Mickey Inspired Outfit, all black and a hint of red. I included a turtleneck and a zip up sweater because it gets pretty cold in the afternoon.

Boo Inspired Disneyland Outfit #5

For California Adventure: Boo Inspired Outfit, I must admit that Boo was by far, my favorite character from the Monsters Inc. Movie.

I changed the shoes.

Pretty Basic Disneyland Outfit

Because Disneyland leaves you tired but always happy: an outfit for the road, back from Anaheim.

Food

You may or may not know, but I spent the 29th sick with a stomach flu. I pretty much threw up all that I had eaten on Christmas... So, obviously, I didn't wanted to eat much.

However, I felt better on the 30th so I decided to go all the way in (while in California Adventure):

Instagram saw it first: I posted my #FoodPorn on my story. Remember to follow me as. @cixara

We ate at a place that (apparently) is new, by the lake, close to the flying chairs... It was so good I wasn't able to finish it, so while I do recommend it (even more than the Mexican food on the other side of the lake), make sure you share the pasta or don't pick up a pizza slice, as I did (I was feeling so much better...)

Deja Vú: Just like last year...

After that, I went to get the iconic Ice Cream cone but since I had already eaten, I didn't get the double one...

The next day at Disneyland, I was finally able to taste the Turkey Leg... I didn't think it was going to be that big though.

Honestly, just by seeing the picture I crave some more...

I didn't get to taste this macaroons but apparently they were good...

Overall, I loved these days and I feel like I received the New Year at the best place... We actually got to enjoy the fireworks at about 9pm because they synced with Disneyland Orlando (it was 12am by that time) and then spent the night (until 12am) at the restaurant where Star Wars is... You can see all of this in my new and very FIRST VLOG!!! ...

I must admit that even though I was contemplating from a while ago joining YouTube, I'm nervous. Even though I love to shoot and edit videos....

So go watch it, leave a thumbs up if you liked it, suscribe to my channel (which, by the way, will contain different types of videos, not just Vlogs.) and let me know your thoughts, they are always welcome :)
